On May 16, 2008, some PYP schools met at the International School of Dundee in Riverside, CT, to discuss technology used in our teaching. The workshop was facilitated by Mary Metzger, from Columbia University Teacher College’s School for Technology and School Change, and Marlene Feder, PYP Coordinator from the Rosemarie Ann Siragusa School in Yonkers, NY. The presenters had participants perform a task in Kidpix. In addition to the presentation by Mary and Marlene, technology teachers and other staff from the schools at the meeting shared strategies and websites which support this area. Nelyda Miguel, co-PYP Coordinator from Dundee, showed the group her school’s website and the Virtual Library she created around the units of inquiry developed in her school.
